Musical Shabbat

In order to expose the local community to music in all its variety, the conservatory and the Kiryat Ono Municipality have initiated a series of subsidized concerts for the residents. These events feature leading musicians in their field, with an emphasis on chamber ensembles. The concerts are accompanied by explanations, and invite music lovers of all levels of familiarity, and of all ages.

The Musical Shabbat is held on one Saturday per month, at 11AM, in the Ono Academic College concert hall. Tickets are 35 NIS in advance and 40 NIS at the box office, ticket purchasing is done on the Kiryat Ono municipality's website.

 

Street Piano

The Kiryat Ono conservatory, in collaboration with the Municipality, Mifal Hapayis and the Cadenza Street Piano Company, has purchased and placed an electric piano made of concrete in the Drachten Square plaza. The piano is active on all days of the week from 08AM to 8PM and passers-by are welcome to play it at any moment. From time to time, and as the weather allows us, the conservatory holds ensemble rehearsals, concerts and activities for the city's residents at the piano plaza.

 

Performances at Municipal Events

Conservatory students perform at a variety of municipal events, with the aim of enriching the activities and ceremonies that take place in Kiryat Ono. Some of them are: events for seniors, municipal departments events, events at the “Tzevet” club, events at the bowling club, events for Holocaust survivors, cultural events produced by the community center, municipal library events and more.
